In some cases, credit card issuers will submission incentives even on their secured card portfolios. In these cases, the deposit required may be significantly less than the obligatory notice limit, and can be as level as 10% of the desired faith limit. This deposit is held in a different savings account. Praise card issuers presentation this as they have noticed that delinquencies were notably reduced when the customer perceives he has something to Go lose if he doesn't repay his balance.
Such customers are called "diabolicals" by the credit card companies; they try to avoid them at all cost.
